"Raising Children and Running a Business: A Conversation with Southern Gents' Fola Lawson"

Welcome back to another episode of the B&R podcast, I know it has been a week or so since a new episode was released. I want to edit this one in a different way so that’s why it took a little longer. However, my guest today is well worth the wait. I speak with Fola Lawson, creator and director of Southern Gents. a Black-owned menswear brand, styling platform and e-commerce destination alongside its inspiring Co-Founder/Creative Director Fola Lawson. Fola is a style expert and dad of two with a modern approach to essential menswear, on a mission to motivate men and prioritize their wardrobe.

He comes onto the podcast to discuss his entrepreneurial journey, how Southern gents got started, his educational background and how that helped him in business. We also discuss race and business; we touch on raising children and the importance of being present too. There is so much more I haven’t mentioned but you’ll have to watch or listen to hear it.
